Oof, not a good week for bulls. It’s a bloodbath out there, and many longs were liquidated. It is reported that US$562 million long was liquidated, and I hope you’re not one of them.
Things are not looking so good for Singapore either. Everything is so expensive in Singapore, and inflation is not helping. Core inflation hit a 13-year high, well above analyst expectations. I miss my $5 subway.
In other news, our favourite messaging app, Telegram, may launch its own marketplace where users could use “NFT-like smart-contracts” to transfer usernames. Those who are late to ENS could hop onto this train.
On the topic of NFT, Nike is milking it! If you didn’t know, Nike is the world’s highest earning brand from NFT sales. It made over US$185 million in revenue from the sale of NFTs. Damn, Nike is so good at branding and marketing.
SudoRare also made headlines as it rugs US$800,000 6 hours after launch. It was supposed to be a combination fork of SudoSwap and LooksRare. The anonymous team deleted all of the social media accounts and transferred the funds into three different wallets. This is why we need regulations.
